Welcome to the home of Chattanooga Hamilton County Rescue Service (CHCRS).
CHCRS is a 501c3, not for profit corporation working under the direction of the Hamilton County, Tennessee Emergency Management Agency. CHCRS is a member of the Tennessee Association of Rescue Squads (TARS) and provides mutual aid services to TARS members.
CHCRS offers aid with cave and cliff accidents, vertical and technical rescue, search and rescue, wildland fire fighting with red card certification, rehab of fire and rescue personnel, SCBA breathing air replacement service in the field, hazmat decon, underground hazmat response, confine space rescue and automobile accident extraction.
